Frequently Asked Questions
& Tips for Visiting the Ranch

TIPS FOR VISITING THE RANCH

Bring a wagon  or stroller with big wheels (think jogging stroller) if you have one. Wagons and strollers with small wheels struggle and are usually better left at home.

Bring good shoes. We try hard to keep the dirt in check but most people still take some home.

Bring Bug Spray! Bugs depend on the weather. The colder in the season the less bugs. It is also a good idea to wear long pants.

Of course we would love for you to enjoy our concessions but bring a picnic and snacks. There are grassy areas that are great for picnics with the kids.

GENERAL FAQs

Can we just come in and purchase food, and donuts, or shop at the Country Store?
--No, an admission ticket is required to come in and purchase anything at the ranch. We don’t have a way to know who just comes in to eat and then leaves and who stays and plays. If you know you want to come and satisfy your hamburger or donut craving multiple times during the season, a season pass is the perfect solution for that!

Can I pre-order donuts for my own event?
--No. We can’t take orders for events outside of the festival. We have a strict limit of 3 dozen donuts per person. Thanks for your understanding!

Do I have to purchase tickets online?
--Yes. Everyone has to purchase tickets online. If you arrive without having purchased online, we can help you at the front by purchasing them on our computers or showing you how on your phone. The price will be the same. Purchasing online makes checking-in really fast and easy!

I purchased tickets online. Do I have to come on the day I selected when I purchased them?
--Yes. We have timed ticketing to ensure each guest has the best experience here at the ranch. During Covid, we learned that the ranch is more enjoyable when we limit attendance to a level that is more fun for everyone.

Is the Ranch Wheelchair Friendly?
--It depends on the wheelchair. Due to the nature of the ranch and farm the ground is uneven and most areas of the ranch are gravel including our parking lot. This makes it hard for regular wheelchairs. Areas like our sunflower, pumpkin, or corn fields are just that - fields - with uneven dirt. We don't have "paved" paths. The farm yard is gravel, dirt, and woodchips. If you have a group member in a wheelchair please feel free to contact us so we can make your experience as easy and fun as possible!

Can I bring my Pet (Dog)?
--Yes! We allow dogs at all of our festivals. We only require that they be on a leash at all times, you clean up any messes they may leave (bring bags - we don't provide them), and that they are nice community members - ie: no barking or aggressive behavior that scares other guests or our ranch animals. Note that pets of any kind are never allowed in animal pens and some animal areas!

Do you accept Credit Cards?
--Yes. We take all major cards and cash. We don't accept personal checks (except for some private event deposits).

Do you charge for Parking?
--No. Parking is free!

Do you allow Alcohol at the ranch?
--No,  we do not allow alcohol during public or private events.

Do you allow Smoking at the ranch?
--Only in the designated area in our parking lot. For the enjoyment of our other guests and because of the nature of the ranch and the dry climate of Utah we cannot have smoking anywhere at the ranch.

Does the ranch offer Discount Tickets?
--Yes. Sign up for our emails - we send a few emails each festival. We send out our best deals to our email subscribers!
